Here's a special bonus April 1 episode of 'Tell Me About Your Song', in which I talk about Rhode Island's state song, 'Rhode Island's It For Me'. My remarks here are a slightly updated version of a presentation I gave at the Empire Revue in July of 2011.
'Rhode Island's It For Me' was adopted as the Rhode Island state song in 1996. This episode focusses on the lyrics, which were written by Charlie Hall. The song's music was written by Maria Day, and it was arranged by Kathryn Chester.
